I first tried running windows doom legacy with my old soundblaster 16, didn't work. My sound card drivers are properly loaded in Windows95. Sound and music work in the original Doom2 with no problem.
I recently upgraded to an Soundblaster64. The music starts late for some reason. However when I quit legacy and then try to go back in there is no music at all. I'm suspecting the drivers weren't released correctly in the code.

Yes, there is a known bug with SB cards. I hope we will be able to fix it soon, but one more time, sound programming is not our cup of tea http://www.newdoom.com/ubb/frown.gif. Note that this only happens under windows version.

It is very easy to fixing bug http://www.newdoom.com/ubb/smile.gif Just close and open again midi stream (it is classic Microsoft bug). I made it in the my own Legacy sources.

Great to know...
Maybe you can show us what you did exactly and send us the patch? If you fixed more bugs on you own Legacy source code, it would be nice to share your work with us.
