I've had a cool idea for the skins in DooM Legacy, the skin wad file could have a file inserted so that it contained information like your health, walking speed and veiw height, this means that you could have some cool deathmatch fights as you could each try to use each others weakneses, and the characters could be like they are in the game, eg: a Cyberdemon skin could be very slow, have a lot of health and a veiw height of around 100.

Just a thought anyway...

Theres something out for zdoom like that,i forget what but if your the cyber you can only use the rocket launcher,and your really tall so cant fit through doorways and stuff,but being the lost soul is fun (go anywhere,do anything,gib a former human in one hit-but you can only use the fist)

EDIT-something that would be cool is to have loads of different possible enteries in skins,so say somebodies got a twilight warrior one,and somebodies got a twice risen one-now if they picked up a chaingun-the guy not using a skin would get the chiangun,the guy with the twilight warroir would get a mp5 and the twice risen would get the laser-machine gun kill lots thingy

The ability to change a skins height and health level in Legacy would be awsome. I also have a suggestion of my own the skins should have their own customizable pallete files so that a skins color wont be limited by dooms palete. My other suggestion is to have scalable sprites like edge has so that the Skins could have more detail without exceding the player size. These two features would be very helpful for a tc im working on.
