I want to make a modification for legacy that gives doom some rpg elements. For instance, the more often you use a weapon, the more accurate and powerful it becomes. As an example, i will use the supershotgun. The more often you use it, the closer together the buckshot will become, until you get it to its maximum, and it shoots all the pelets (each one more powerful then they were before) into a single dot, changing it from a crowd-sweeper to a sniper rifle! Somthing like that isn't possable in legacy or Doom for that matter. Zdoom might,with its scrpting features,but I seriously doubt it. Ask someone smarter than me and maybe the answers will be diffrent.

actually, the shotgun would be kind of pointless, because the spread pattern of a shotgun is ALWAYS erratic, and it doesnt matter how good you are with it, it will spread. now, the pistol would be a better example. sorry. i love guns. =]

Well,if legacy ever supports scripting (i heard it was going to once) then im gonna make all the people who stand around in my tc say stuff when you go near them

Fraggle script or something was being implemented at one point... hows it coming?

And don't play zdoom for christsake, it's a poor excuse of ripped off source port.

Fraggle script is almost completed. http://www.newdoom.com/ubb/biggrin.gif Little issues to clear up according to SoM. Hub support isn't implented yet and stuff. I got a Fraggle scripted Map for legacy on my computer. Sweet ass. http://www.newdoom.com/ubb/cool.gif
