I have noticed that when im playing doom legacy, the background music doesn't start playing to at least half-way though the level.
Another thing is when im playing music from a CD and i get sick of it i take the cd out, but then it says there is a problem with my midi card, and doom music doesnt start, but the midi music plays when i first start the game. Any help would be appeciated.

Hey, long time no see Planky!

I have SERIOUS problems with the music in legacy. The midi 'warbles', for want of a better word. It is out of time and tune...

Plus there is a problem on certain levels (example, e1m2 and e1m8) where the midi starts off fine and then stalls. Soon after the PC starts making 'beep' noises, like the kind you get when you start bashing the keyboard after a terminal windows crash... if you finnish the level, the entire game freezes... if youkeep onplaying, the beeps with drive you nuts and you will eat your keyboard... if you quit the game freezes...

Damn it's annoying!

I believe the problem is that Legacy plays the midi silently until it loops again, the only way around is to quit legacy, go into single map, and start at the next map.
Its probly just a simple fix, and we can look foward to it with the new 3d floors very soon right?

Well, we fixed a midi problem in v1.30, but couldn't find how to fix the remaining problems at that time, so maybe it will take more time before it's fixed. And thus, the beta version with 3d-floors probably won't fix that bug. But of course, we keep that in mind!
