Hey, is it possible to play MP3's in Legacy (Specifcly, the neato ones you can download off of Doomworld) And is it possible to get it to play each mp3 for each level?

Secondly, for some reason the "partial transparency" doesn't work on my setup(IE: Where a torches post wouldn't be transparent but the flame would) Was this taken out?

Thirdly, for some reason when there are multiple barrel explosions or plasma bullets in the air, the game's controls become VERY laggy... You can still look left or right easy, but moving has about a second of lag.. and this is in SINGLE player! Maybe it's just my p200 showing it's age(But then again.. this is DOOM! Originally made for a 386!)

Finally, for some reason Lan games don't work.. All that happens is one guy hosts the server and can't move (Even when noones trying to join the game) and if someone trys to join, it just freezes on them.. TCP/IP works great though....

Sincerely,
Jeremy Dunn

Well, in a limited fashion. You can set winamp to play the MP3s in it's play list, boot up legacy and switch of the midi. Interestingly enough, the CD volume control affects the MP3 output.

I belive Kege was working on a way to use windows messages to control winamp from legacy (or some other technical ******** that I don't understand) but I don't know how that is turning out...

And if you are looking for soem kick ass doomie MP3s, then you can get them of off DoomHQ , napster (if anyother doom maniac is on the same server...) and you can check out fanatic's page on doomworld for some REALLY good **** .

MP3's in Legacy would be good, and I believe (But can't remember, see I'm 'recovering') that Edge has MP3 support!

MP3 support would be so amazing for a wad like surge2.wad, because music like that NEEDS MP3's! But then I'd have no reason to use my (amazing) DeathMatch CD. Oh well, I'm going on about nothing again.....
