Hey there.
Believe it or not, aside from music, I used to edit Doom levels (finally released an 11 map mini episode called "Insertion" available on CDROM.com).

Getting back into Doom (thank you thank you thank you you port people!), and I'm wondering what YOUR opinions are on editing.

1. I loved DETH. Is ZETH just as good?

2. I forgot how to compile and generate reject tables. I know. I'm pathetic. What do I need? I think I used WARM at one point, but I would like to know what is used nowadays to work with Legacy (whoop!) Zdoom, etc...

3. WinTex still available somewhere? It still work okay? Do MIDI files still have to be converted to MUS format?

4. Flats and Sprites. I forgot how to insert SS_start and S_end (or SS_end?). Any help would be great.

I guess I just need a refresher. I miss making Doom levels. http://www.newdoom.com/ubb/smile.gif
