Different game types?

Hey guys.. I hadn't been keeping up with the Doom scene, and somehow happened over here today at work. WOW.. what a ways it has come since the source was released http://www.newdoom.com/ubb/smile.gif

Anyhow, just wondering if it might be possible to add different game types (ie. Capture the Flag). I haven't looked at the code, so I don't know how the DM code is laid out. But I think that would be pretty cool http://www.newdoom.com/ubb/smile.gif

I think it's what Legacy needs to come over the scene.

CTF is pretty useless unless the netcode is improved... unless you have super speedy connections or a network to play over (split screen does'nt count... ever tryed to play CTF with two players? http://www.newdoom.com/ubb/smile.gif )

I didn't knew FAB left cause I'm new to this scene. Sorry for that!

My favorite game is UT-CTF for the moment and now as I recovered my old DOOM(s) with Legacy I would be happy to also play CTF cause I like the kind of game.
It isn't the frag in the foreground, it's the coordinate teamplay, that decides the match.
But wuuhh, I don't have any gameprogramming experience, so I can't understand what's the point to add CTF-gameplay.
You guys gave my a fine backview on my beginning of PC-gaming: DOOM.
I totally like it! (in 1024 & OpenGL) :-)
