There are some problems with dehacked support in multiplayer. For example, try using a wad with 'dehacked' lmp in multiplayer - it seems that client ignores that lmp. Also, it doesn't transfer .deh files at net game start. The only way I was able do run multiplayer game with railgun is to manually copy both .wad and .deh to client and specify them in -file option.

I had the same problem running Deh files. On the multiplayer screen, check the 'Additional Options' box, and to add for example a dehacked file called 'example.deh' type '-deh example.deh'. This MUST be written on both Client and Server. (Also no file time checking needs to be checked I found) Hope this helps.

I know the problem as well. The best solution in my opinion is to modify the launcher with a hex editor (for the client side). Find the command -server and rename it to -connect. Now the server can launch as usual with all additional files from the server menu and on the client side you must also launch with all files from the server menu. The command exchange will treat it like a client.
