how you get the new multiplayer features to work?

The one where you can have people join a server while you play? I set it for 3 computers and then start and I just sit in the console. The game never starts. Shouldn't it start and then people join later?

Yes, I suppose you found it yourself. Just put 1 computer and then wait for the other players.
It seems we forgot to update this old options. Now, it should only be used for allowing a maximum number of player, for example. Hehe, something to do for the next release ;-)
