Hey everyone, finally decide to start playing Doom online..i know it will be tough since its been out...oh say atleast a couple of years already..but i really love the game, so i am going to try it. I don't know how to play Doom online to tell you the truth, so i am going to need some help there..i know there is the Doom Connector..which looks pretty user friendly, and X-Doom and all these other that a fellow gamer had once showed me..So what's the best one to use, lets give me some suggestion guys. Also..one more thing..im trying to download the latest Jdoom version 1.13 it seem i think, but the thing won't start downloading and keep telling me my IP is downloading two of its file at one time..can someone help me with that?

don't know if this will help, but it looks like there is a multiplayer/networking ref. guide (i.e. "readme") included with doomsday-- i say "looks like" cos i haven't downloaded the whole shibang yet myself. if you're still having trouble downloading v1.13, you can also read it @ the jdoom site under "documentation." there's also a section on multiplayer, but the document goes into more detail.

Don't use programs lige download accelerator for downloading from the JDooM site it makes multiple connections, so disable any of these download programmes and use the one windows has instead when downloading from there
