Just have to say that JDoom is awesome. It really is. I spent last night installing it and tweaking it and after playing it both single player and co-op (on 400mhz V3 and 450mhz V3), it amazed me how well Jaakko has culminated his own work together with others work in making DOOM look and play so modern. I particularly like the co-op genre of gameplay in video games which is sadly neglected on the whole, but jDoom will get me and my mates playing a game whose gameplay intensity is seldom matched by games nowadays.

Yeah, co-op's fun. I play with my friend on Doom2 on Ultra-Violence. We have a blast. We use Legacy though. I still have to get the new version of JDoom.

Ok, it looks really cool, but there are so many graphics bugs. Some of Doom2's textures don't ever show and you get HOM. The game actually froze when I tried to quit too. I love the graphics, but it's got some serius bugs (at least in GL)

On the whole I think this is such a leap forward that we can't really complain. But we can submit bugs here which I will relay to Jaakko as he doesnt frequent this messageboard as much as he'd like to. With any v1.0 there are bound to be issues but the networking code alone is worth it.
