the card has its GL driver already installed so maybe its not detecting it for some reason the error is right before the gameplay starts and it reads (CRITICAL ERROR WITH DOOMSDAY EXE. ) ASUS V8200 Series. Its going ok thank you for answering me the GL works grate on other games quake 2 and 3 its nice not having to install a GL driver this one comes with a Nvidia GL driver but see its not giving me no doom action this is the driver (nvopengl dll .OPEN GL client driver 4.1301.1210) Pentium(r) with SSE 256 ram. 64MB GFORCE 3 OH AND 1 GIG MHz and it starts up just like its all good and right before the demo or when I start the game I get the error above crazy huh http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/smilies/cwm13.gif

Hi,

Can you provide us with the exact error and any command line parameters you are adding to the batch file?

if you could add 'consoledump 1' (without the quotes) into your jdoom.cfg and take a look at the doomsday.out after you run it then maybe we can see what the problem is. consoledump 0 should be already there so just change it to a 1 and run JDoom again.

I'm running v12.60 of the NVidia drivers with Win2ksp2 on a 850mhz Duron w/GeForce2MX and it runs fine, even in Direct3D mode (which my old Voodoo3 seemed to struggle with)...
