no text needed! it does indeed rock. instead of living the 24hour daylight and 24hour drinking fest that is the finnish summer, Jaakko is probably gonna spend most of his time locked in a dark room hammering out the new version of JDoom! isnt that right Jaakko? Jaakko? no? well, we can hope... :P

We'll have to see about that! My Army service ended today, which obviously deserves 'some' celebration, but you can all be sure that in a couple of days I'm going to be working on the Doomsday project once again, AT LEAST 25 hours a day.

EXCELLENT Jaakko, glad to hear u in such positive tone!

No other port of Doom is as good as JDoom, I just cant play any other cos i miss the lense flares and most of all the 3D audio EAX2!!

DOOM is the -perfect- game to make use of these sound features and it adds SO much to the game!

A few of the sfx in the current Jdoom have a few probs with EAX / 3D audio enabled (specifically the chaingun), is anyone else experiencing this?

Well, i look forward to an update of Jdoom, but i especially look forward to a new JHexen!!!
