I recently upgraded JDoom with the december 29 patch I also moved it to to my new USB hard drive and when I played it there were chunks of the md2 models that were not displaying making them look utterly retarded, I didn't have this problem before help please.

Hi Danok,

I've got a feeling that something might have been corrupted in the transfer, or that its not reading properly. I can't see that its a JDoom problem... http://forums.newdoom.com/ubb/smilies/cwm34.gif

Try copying it back to your IDE drive from the USB and see if it works there, then you'll know if it was corrupted in the process.

did that a long time ago but it still didn't look any better however D3D still works fine and so I'm not going to bother trying to redownload it from the web or anything just yet, unless I have some free time and get bored.

The md2 models are also messed up for me in OpenGL, but look fine in Direct3D. GeForce256 with Detonator 3 drivers.

I recently upgraded to a Geforce2 from a tnt perhaps it has something to do with the geforce class of cards.

Just tried it on a TNT card with Detonator 3 drivers, models are also messed up in OpenGL. DoomGL looks fine though using same models. Must be the Doomsday renderer and the Detonator 3 drivers. Doesn't really bother me much, I think JDoom looks better without the models anyway.

maybe it's the newer detonator drivers, that might be it.
