Sound Problems

I war testing out Jdoom, and found that it makes a loud hum sound when sounds are on, this only happeds when sound is turned on, the music on the otherhand works fine. I also can't seen to get the Joystick to work in the program either. http://forums.newdoom.com/ubb/frown.gif

Okay, let me start with the joystick:

Open your JDoom.cfg and find i_useJoystick. This is probably set to i_useJoystick force 0. If you set it to 1 it enables your joystick. Other setting include i_jlook (a setting of 1 enables joystick look) and i_joySensi (joystick sensitivity. play around with this). Personally, I haven't tried JDoom with joystick but in theory that should work.

Here are my sound settings:

s_16bit 1
s_3D 0
s_musicDevice force 1
s_resample 4
s_ReverbVol 100
s_volcd force 255
s_volmidi force 255
s_volsfx 255

And I have no problems (Using a Sounblaster Live).
