why oh why wont the md2's work for me, i tried everything, this is the line im using:
-game jdoom.dll -gl drOpenGL.dll -ultimate -maxzone 16m %1 %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7 %8 %9
im sure they are in the right place, when i go into software mode i can see them loading in the console but other than that there is no change.

Look for this line in the jdoom.cfg file...

# Render using 3D models when possible.
useModels 1

It has to be set to '1' (as above) to use models...though I think you figured that out already...

As far as lockups...you're in Open GL mode?

Do the lockups occur in D3D?

Are you using an AMD processor...if so, what clock speed.

And, what Voodoo 3 drivers are you using?

(It worked fine, with the exact same command line you're using, on my old V3 3000 AGP card...we should get it working on yours...)

Oh, make sure you have the latest JDoom...(A December version), as he said he fixed a flaw in the OpenGL renderer, though the earlier (September) release worked fine on mine.

Post a reply with answers to my questions, and we'll see if we can't get to the bottom of the lockups. http://forums.newdoom.com/ubb/smile.gif
