Why can't I jump?

I tried jumping but I can't. Is it not ready?

I assume you are reffering to Jheretic or Jdoom, yes?

Well, open the jheretic.cfg or Jdoom.cfg file and chagen the 'Allowjump' variable from '0' to '1'. That should do it, now go into the game and configure a key or button as your jump... and that should be it!

Try jumppower 18 to jump high! Too bad you can't duck in Doom or Quake1 though.
