hello all. I have this secondary old computer that I want to run JDoom on but I can't seem to get it running on the Matrox M3D PowerVR PCX2 card in D3D mode. I think it could have something to do with the fact that the M3d is an add in 3D card (not 2D/3D) and that JDoom looks at the primary display driver for a suitable device. This would mean that cards such as Voodoo 1s wouldn't work either if this is the case.
Does anyone know how I can achieve this? Anyone with either a Matrox M3D, another PowerVR card or a Voodoo 1 type card might be able to provide me with some much appreciated insight. How bout it?
