Hi, anyone else using a Voodoo3 and getting poor OpenGL permormance when running JDoom DTEST2?? I can remember earlier versions working great in OpenGL with JHexen (although the fogging didnt work). Since this fog problem, I used Direct3D which was flawless. Now that the Dtest2 is OpenGL only, i am forced to use this, and am having problems with it. I have tried serveral Voodoo3 driver versions, but get no improvement? Anyone have any suggestions??

Thanks very much,

BAM.

I have a Voodoo3 3000 AGP. JDoom does not run very well in OpenGL mode on my card. I ran into this problem on other Doom ports. Try this...go into your Windows/system folder and copy 3fdxOGL.dll to your JDoom directory. Rename the driver to opengl32.dll. This worked for me on ZDoomGL a while back. Maybe this will help you. It's too bad this Dtest2 does not have DirectX support.
