There's nothing there that says it's Romero's - just an implied "romero" in the ebay user name. Location in TX means nothing too.

As I recall, they all bought them in 1993 or so. Would they all buy "used" ones?

My R32 would give that a run for it's money...seriously, ferrari's are dead slow compared to Jap sports cars, and you want to know whats funny, the R32 is heavier and has half the motor.. a 2 litre inline six with a huge HKS TO4D Turbo at 25psi, makes close to 400Kw's, if I can get my grubby hand on an GTR R34 2.6 litre, that Ferrari would need a Turbojet to keep up, the R34 can make over 600kw's too easy
Wait a minute with that TO4 turbo my engine is now a four litre, yikes thats all good.

Past a certain point (for the street), it really doesn't matter if you can do a 1/4 mile under 14 seconds nor a top speed over 120 (in the US). Even handling gets to be academic for street purposes once you get to a certain level.

Ferrari's handle very nice. Last one I drove hard was impressive (friend worked at a dealership). It's like the difference between a Craftsman tool and a Snap-On. Both capable, but one is just more fun to drive hard.

If I'd looked DOWN the page, I wouldn't have wondered if that was Romero's. Don't know why I didn't before. Must have fixated on the car too much. THAT is one fast car though. Don't think I'd want to take a Skyline to 200mph http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/smile.gif

Anyway, he DID buy it used - sort of odd if you think about it.

Don't know if he'll get a buyer. Corvettes LOSE value if you modify them in any way. I think he tinkered a bit too much (body mods), but who knows.

If you notice, he already had the engine rebuilt 500mi ago. Ferrari's (and other exotics) need rebuilds relatively often. They figure if you can afford the car, you can afford the upkeep.

Well, I called stumps a bullshitter in another thread, looks like he is trying hard to prove me right, I doubt if anyone at Nissan (or Toyota) would ever dream of comparing any of their cars with a Ferrari.

I wonder how much of all the other stuff stumps comes out with is bullshit, maybe he is just some snotty nosed schoolkid living out his fantasies in these forums, all that crapola about fast cars, fast computers and fast women.

That Skyline thing is quite an ugly car, like a bastardised 1980's mustang. It wouldnt go as fast as the ferrari if you dropped it from a plane.
