The thing that hooked me was the camera I bought was the the only one available (at my local Sears) that uses floppies. SOLD! Got a Sony Digital Mavica at $499.99.

Hey, King REoL is absolutely right. You can't judge a pair of speakers today by size. Look at my set.....two tiny cubes and the subwoofer below. These Cambridge Soundworks speakers by Creative along with my Soundblaster X-gamer soundcard produce better sound than my entire stereo system. Oh and also, the reason I have my subwoofer on a shelf and not on the floor where it belongs.......is because the basement here floods sometimes, when the sump-pump dies. This hasn't happened since 2 years ago, and before that 10 years since a flood. Yet, there is a chance of flooding, so on de shelf it stays......

Hm, there's a problem. The case will be too hot to touch if the interior is in flames. So all you can do is just point your fire extinguisher nozzle through the fan at the back and pray the fan's no too fast or powerful to spray it all back at you.

In fact, I don't even have one of those free little "places" online to store anything yet!

Hell, my office space rocks compared to all of the lame pics posted so far. I have all the wires bundled in split-loom tubing, everything organized just right...and so far my NEC MultiSync FE 750 Flatpanel CRT monitor is better than anything yet presented.

The only way to prove it though, is to put up a picture, so I'll just shut up now...

Yes its a marble mouse, and it only su&ks playing net games. For some reason it is really slow.(takes about 4 spins to do a 360} For solo games... I don't have a scanner or digital camera so I can't post pics. Although it looks alot like all of your domains but with alot more empty coke cans.
Right now I just got one of those new G.I.Joe figure two packs and have them set up. Good damn 10 years and I finally get Undertow. I have Undertow ardently defending my printer from a Bio-viper. While the eco-warrior Flint(the one with the ***** green and yellow uniform) patrols my speaker, behind my monitor Firefly is positioned to snipe Flint.

Those TFT flats are .30mm dot pitch, have a very low refresh rate, and are useless.

I couldn't fit a 17" monitor on the desk, when I bought my 15" one. That was at my parent's house. I have the desk aways from the back wall because the electric heater would be blocked, so if I want a 21" monitor, I can easilly put that sucker in now.
Besides, 17" monitors are cheap now, but not even close when I bought this one (the cheapest 17"-ers were like $600. GASP!).

And for everyone who doesn't have a cam, just go out and buy one of those one-time-use throw-away cameras!! They are only 4 or 5 bucks, and that's what I used. And if you don't have a scanner, you can pay another $10 or something, and have Kodak scan and upload them for ya!! The pics stay on Kodak's site, accessible with a private code, for one month.

Do you have the manual for the desk? Maybe you can order (or even make) a new shelf.

If not, find another place to put all that stuff, or put plywood there for the moment, turn the shelf upside-down, and put heavy objects on the underside for a few months. It might straighten out.

Well.. I'm back.. and I finally got the photo I took of my computer developed! So here it is:

Unfortunately... my scanner STILL has the problem with INTERFERENCE.. and produces coloured lines across each image. But, with a bit of photoshop tweaking.. I was able to remove most of it without damaging the image (copied a black section with the same coloured lines on it... inverted it... pasted on top and used difference (or was it exclusion??) and that removed the lines). You can still see it on the walls around my computer... as they are really WHITE, not multicoloured. http://www.newdoom.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

And yes... there are !7! speakers... 4 at the front, 2 behind and one under the desk. http://www.newdoom.com/ubb/smile.gif

In case your wondering what that vertical cardboard tube is for, it's a super lame tri-pod for it. Then I hung a sheet on the wall to the left that you can't see (white or green sheet) that I use for a back ground for pics I put into the game.

You'll need some mid-range and tweeters, too. It'll sound terrible with only subs.
A friend of mine had a stereo with only subwoofers working in the speaker set, and it was awful. Treble cranked, Bass down to noting, was still all-bass. Puke.

No worries, as you'll see on either side of the monitor I have 50 satalite speakers. The sound just from them is surprisingly bitchin'. And if I wanted I have a wide variety of mids, tweets, full range, and now that I think of it, a nice pair of 8 inch subs.

Maybe I'll actually do something with them if I can ever get my ass of this forum! EEEAARGH!

internet connection one?
you could try proxy-plus it will allow you to hook up your computers via network cable to allow you to have 1 internet connection and have them all on the net at once

I wish i had a picture to show u guys, but this friend of mine, went out to an auction and brought the old New Zealand Post office's computers. He uses his double garage to store them, but now he cant park his car in there. I swear there is about 300 computers in there as well as the spare parts.

My Dad school got coned to upgrade from the color Commodore 64 computers to the really bad black and white macintosh computers. However, they were going to trash the c64s so I saved them all. I now have 6+ c64s which are really cool and acutally have color graphics!
