Exactly ! Sometimes these evil things start up from the weirdest places . I was looking for...........please don't laugh.......a picture of Shania Twain , for my little neice (luckily she wasn't around at the time ). So i click on this link for S.T. and all these stupid porno adverts start running amok . Ahhhhhhh ! Like Zack said , what if someone walked in while on the screen a picture of some naked guy with a glowing willy is stuck there in full view !

Or worse yet, those pop up AT THE WORKPLACE (happened to someone I know). Fortunately, if we use the PC Room (we call it the Porn Room), Honeywell can't tell who was looking at what, but can tell someone's been someplace. One of those ads did pop up there. They suck.

i've never seen nude men pop on my screen. It's always been japanese schoolgirls and the like :)

Anyway, good thing I have a Dreamcast to browse with, so no unwanted windows pop up anymore! :) (Yes, I do have frames.)

Another annoying thing are sites that cuase your browser to open and close little windows with some sort of graphic, to the point that your PC is rendered completely useless. The only way to stop it is to hit the PC's power switch (no amount of CTRL+ALT+DEL could save you. I tried).

That's all they play in Canada (RUSH)? Ijn Boston at least, all they play is U2. Talk about rancid. Then again WAAF doesn't play pu$$y rock like U2 or Barenaked Ladies (okay, they play SOME U2, but very little).

I hated those Glam Bands in the '80's, and still do. The inventors of awfulness.

In my opinion 99% of all radio stations are complete crapp and it doesn't matter what format they're in, they just suck. They take a batch of songs and replay them over & over & over & over again.

John Osterlind, WAAF Music Director/Afternoon Jock, said that the reason music is played over agin through the course of the day is because over 90% of the raidio audience typically listens durring their commutes to and from work, or while running errands. So these people can hear the latest and greatest(?), they play these songs many times, usually durring times people tend to be traveling from point A to B. When you're at work or at home listening the entire day, or for a decent chunk of time, you do hear the same thing over and over and over again.
John even admitted to the fact that it suckes to play music this way, and the above reason is why most stations do this.
