View Full Version : Who knows what happens when the trial version of DeepSea hits 30 days?

I don't want to fork out $30-40 for the registered version of DeepSea due to the fact that I only use it to replace graphics, sounds, and music (I use WADED for the levels simply because I'm too used to WADED to use any other program). For those who have downloaded the trial version of DeepSea, you'll know that it says something about "You have 30 days to try DeepSea, after which it must be registered". So after these 30 days, does the program disable your ability to use it or something? WADED does the same thing, but with 2 weeks..but after the two weeks, nothing has happened.

It blows up your PC and you end up replacing your CPU.
Just kidding. I think it will not run at all then.

This being my 3rd PC in 5 years, I'd say I'm used to self-combusting personal computers...now if I can use my 007 skills, I just might be able to difuse the explosive in which DeepSea is equipped with. Anyone happen to have a mechanical bomb difuser? You know, one of those things that does the work for you? I'm too lazy to save my life by myself.

Run away, if you hear any weird tiking noises on day 30 http://forums.newdoom.com/ubb/biggrin.gif.
If it does all that stuff without the hassle of Wintex_sucks, etc......then why not just fork over the coin and register the thing?

If you like Deepsea, fork over the money.
If you're LEARNING DeepSea, and you want to hold onto your money for more important things, like Beer, try learning a program that you DON'T have to pay for.
It's all in your court.

I dunno. From what Looney's been telling me about, I'm thinking of forking out the dough for DeepSea.
Sounds like a great program...

Doomcad is good, But the compiler for it sucks so much ass! And the new 6.1 version added in that realy bad feature of allowing the user to move sectors by clicking and draging! What the phuck were they thinking when they added that in? It makes level production slow and annoying!
Ok, it has a lock tool, but that also locks things and vertex! Shame on those programers!

Well then, fork the money over. Wouldn't it totally suck if DooM drops dead once you get the editor? Ouch.
Oh well, back to Q3Radient....
