DOOM Legacy sound problems

I had downloaded Doom Legacy so I could play Doom (The original) since my PC runs on Win.98. I finally got Doom back, and the game works (The looking around and crosshair feature is AWESOME!), but the sound is really screwed up. I can tell what sound it plays, but it plays the sound kinda meshed..like with lots of static and kinda loud. Any way to fix this?

Hmmm. Not knowing any details about your computer, it's kinda hard to know. Aside from installing the latest version of Directx and drivers for your soundcard I can't think of anything else you can really do. The guys on the Legacy forum might know more about this though.
