What in f-ucking hell???? You know at first I figured this whole forums.newdoom.com thing was simply a redirecting url that would take you back to the cgi-bin thing. Now that I realize I am completely wrong, I think this is stupid and utterly rediculous! I mean, what the hell? Why NOT a simple redirecting? Why the f*ck are there TWO sets of forums now??? Are you guys totally insane!?!?!? I'm not gonna take this. You're all idiots! What the hell is all this for? Do you think splitting the world in half would actually work? What's WRONG with you???

Why can't they just make one URL redirect to another? Why would anyone go through all this trouble??? You know how many posts I made on the other forum that will never be read by anyone? Don't you know how pointless that feels? All that time wasted? and nobody will care? How about this: who thinks it's easy to browse on a Dreamcast, having to SLOWLY scroll down to one stupid hyperlink and wait 20 frickin' minutes to load, and do thi over and over again, let alone have to switch between to fricking SETS of forums?

You see no difference? Well I do. And I don't like it! I'm having enough trouble posting messages at all and now I just might as well forget it completely.

Guys, I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused; believe me this has been a learning experience. Unfortunately, there are many factors which made using a simple redirect difficult if not impossible (the UBB forums uses CGI, not straight HTML).
I didn't just delete the other one, because people are still mistakenly going to www.newdoom.com/cgi-bin/ultimate.cgi. (http://www.newdoom.com/cgi-bin/ultimate.cgi.)
But I was able to hack into the code and have it redirect you to the new one (this one), so I wanted to let it go like that for a while until people got acquainted w/ going to the new location.
I can tell you this, although it's of no solace to you guys here, next time we do this for one of the other sites on the network, we've definitely learned our lesson from this experience, and we'll do a better job next time http://forums.newdoom.com/ubb/wink.gif

After some of the things I have lost on the net in cyberspace never to return in the name of improvments, makes this forum snafoo pail in comparison! Try having 2 years of stored Member email deleted, not once but TWICE in the same month, the next month another upgrade Wipes out your main Site Email that you have been storing. ALL your screen names and passords for everything you had signed up for for the past 2 years! Gone! When you ask about it, you get nothing but form letters! Now that's somthing to ***** about!
