Such was the subject title.
This is an email we received that I thought was funny so I'm sharing it with you guys, although I'll withold the sender's name / email address . . .
It has come to my attention that the quality of many of your hosted sites is downright appaling.
For instance, were i to crap on an html file, it would absolut3ly 0wn some of the sites shown on newdoom.
Try checking them once in a while before my eyes are assaulted with that much crap wh0r3z

I think REoL meant, like, you know... "winners."
You know those "special" kids at school whom the teachers have to coddle and watch over all the time and keep on encouraging them in a futile effort to integrate them into "normal" society and they keep on insisting that they're "winners" in every thing they do? (think of Bart's situation in the "Globex" episode of the Simpsons...)

Crapping on an html file, sounds dangerous. What if you caught a static spark off your monitor screen and it ignited some lingering methane gas...

There is obviously people that doesn't understand that there are some html learner people around here. They do not have much experience or exposure to HTML so they don't have the best website out there. At least NewDooM welcomes them, unlike some 'worldly' places that only welcomes talented websites.

I'm no HTML guru, either. At least I try.
Speaking of MIDI's and WAVs, does anyone remember the MIDIs my page used to play? http://www.newdoom.com/ubb/smile.gif
Like Newgrounds, among other sites, there will be a song playing in the background of my new Flash menu. No short snippet looped endlessly, but an entire song, beginning to end, and plays once/pop-up. The menu is under 500KB so far. Yeah, 56K users will have to wait some. http://www.newdoom.com/ubb/smile.gif The end result will wow you (I hope, I hope, God, I hope....)

Good on you boingo. Its also remembering that while a viewer to your page may be interested in the same topic as you (since s/he's visiting the page) they almost certainly don't share musical tastes with you.

Flash music sounds funny at 11KHz, which is what most people (myself included) use. If you go up a notch, to 22KHz, it sounds a lot better, but the load time gets to be a pain. It's worthless at 44.1 though.
Flash: Welcome to the millennium.
