doom III demo?

is there a demo of doom III out there, because i seached it on the web and it came up with allot of (+) results... or are they just calling the alpha the demo, OR did ID software make the alpha the demo? someone fill me in..

The 'Alpha' is the illegaly leaked demo and no, id didn't make it the official demo or anything like that. The actual demo for DooM III hasn't been released yet. The only rumor I heard is that we can expect the demo in the Summer but that could be wrong.

If the alpha was leaked unintentionally that is funny figuring this is a company who's lives depend upon their games... but when you think about it so what if the alpha's leaked, i dunno if we can talk about it here or not but if i have it/played it/don't have it/haven't played it it doesnt matter... what matters is that im going to get it just like everyone else no matter what...so i doubt the "leaked" alpha will hurt anyone...LOL thats my two cents...

No we won't / can't / will not / was asked not to talk about the leaked Alpha / share links to / post screenshots / talk alpha stories or anything along those lines.

Furthermore I don't have it, nor do I wish to run it / watch somebody else play it.... Hell I don't even want to know what's in it. I don't even want the officially released demo. I'll wait for the full game and play the full game without all this spoiler crap that came out when some idiot decided to leak the alpha in the first place.

There is no official demo out yet. I'm sure we'll all know about it when it happens. End of story.
