i think that is just amazon's best guess, i have a fried that works at a local babbages and he said that on their paperwork it says october http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/smilies/cwm3.gif i don't think anyone really knows, cause if a release date had been announced it would be plastered all over the internet

I believe it's coming out in July seriously.

E3 is somewhere around May, and they did say that they didn't want to show it at more than one E3, but at that point if it's coming out in July they wouldn't necissarily need to show it, as E3 is alot for games coming out in a year or two it seems, and showing them off to get everyone's hype up about it.

If they did show it at E3, there's always the chance that it would be the X-Box version that's definitly being released. Or they could just make a nice press release regarding it. I suppose that's a good thing, it'll give me an excuse not to buy 8th Edition Magic the Gathering cards that come out in July with the crappyass new look to them. I know if I don't find something distracting I'll spend my money on 8th Edition anyway as a devoted fan and player of Magic.

All hopes of Doom 3 in july, cross your fingers not your legs! And in the mean time use your fist and not your mouth!

Hmm... God knows. They've stuck with the rather ominous sounding "When it's done" release date in all their interviews. I don't trust that too much - 3D Realms have been saying the exact same thing about DNF for around 4 (5?) years now.

Nobody knows what 3D Realms is doing. I think they're all doing drugs and forgot to make Duke Forever. Heh.

ID on the other hand has shown to be reliable.
