New Doom Music?

Doesn't E1M1s cheesy music rock?
I'd absolutely LOVE to have some of the old tracks revamped for the new Doom, just for nostalgias sake!

There might not be any music at all. But I think they won't play the old midi music in Doom 1 and 2.

Well, much of the music sucked... but E1M1 was a quality classic.
It was the hyper-speed riffs at the end of ever line - definate air-guitar moments!

No music in id games, nothing new there (cept for there CD music, just include it in the damn game).

I think the music from the two first DooMs was really good. I hope they will make new versions of some of the tracks for he game, or just small passages from the old tracks in some of the new tracks

they don't have to add old music....(apart from the fact they will anyways)..but they should DEFINITELY add new music if ANYTHING!

Rumor has it that Trent Reznor will be composing the game's music, and he's verbally stated as much. To my knowledge no contracts have been signed, but it's definitely something to look out for. Quake's soundtrack was quite fitting, after all.

No they don't have to, but I think it would be cool if they had a few of the old tracks of course just in a few areas.

It would also be cool to come across a place which you have seen before (in the old games) and the music changed to the track of that map or just a small passage in the music from the map.
