Yeah...coop is okay. The thing is....I'm wondering how well will the multiplay / coop-play be when we actually get the new Doom. Seems to me that this game is going to be a real systems hog, just to run the single player game...let alone the internet stuff.

co-op will be non existant in the new doom, ID pretty much put thier foot down on that allready, they regretted making Quake III ALL MULTIPLAYER, even in single player it was just deathmatch. SO it'll be soley one player i think

methinks coop would be amazing l33t. seriously though they might be able to make a special Co-Op "campaign", with lower-poly monsters or something to ease the strain. that would be kick-ass (imagine a HL quality story with a squad of badass marines holding your back)

I think the game that i have played within the past year that has the best single player and multiplayer experiance is Perfect Dark. forget the technical issues (sometimes sluggesh framerate, low rez on tv) i am strictly talking about playability. PD has it all COOP, Counter OP, Deathmatch, Bots. I dont think I could ask for more. (well maybe it could be ported to PC, Like Rare would ever let that happen). But i still feel its nessecary to reiterate that DOOM IS the best computer game overall. http://forums.newdoom.com/ubb/smilies/cwm44.gif
