Where will it take place?

Seeing most people want DooM III to take place in a different locale that the other two, where would you think would be a good place to DooM once again?

I think our own moon, nevermind Phobos. Either that, if they want a Martian experience, a trip to the red planet itself would be something to behold, with the pink sky and dark red rocks.

Planet UAC! That does sound a little on the strange side, but if they made such a place in the game, i bet it would be kick ass! As far as planets go, the game could be on Uranus or Pluto or a station in orbit around Jupiter. Can you imagine looking out a view port and checking out the massive planet spinning below......cool shit!

i think our moon would be a good location to.
mebbe this doom could be about whats left of humanity trying to take back certain stations and planets, earth, mars, phobos, deimos... Mankind aint goin down without a fight! Mebbe there would also be other human outposts among planets and our solar system that will all be under fire by these beasts. Missions to defend, take back, our invade and capture demon outposts. Missions that if you fail, there will be no try again, you will either lose or win and the game will go on. That way you might be able to get millitary support before you continue your mission. Ya know, mebbe they could nuke something so youll have less to deal with.. at least thats what youd expect...
Mebbe it could be about doom finding a way to get to the moon. Everyone would be evacuating earth or somethin. If you make it to the moon then mebbe theyll be a few forces left to help you out. Having the ability to save or let your buddies die (wich youll meet throught the game) could either have one of them find something for a you.. build a modification, or end up being some possessed human that wastes all your freinds at the end. blah blah blah blah blah

Actually i always thought that the origonal doom started on mars (knee deep). Shores of Hell was Deimos, and Inferno was Phobos. Thats how i saw it, Then again i read a lot of different stories on doom back then. I heard in one story that deimos started glowing when the demons first appeared and then phobos just dissapeared (saw a picture of Phobos floating over hell aka. inferno). Youd have to already be on mars to see both moons so cleary. Actually it was a good story, if i can find it ill post it, was years ago though =<
Wherever its going to take place, i think doom shouldnt be alone anymore. Maybe the guy finally found a remaining human resistance thatll help em out. Who knows, they could all get slaughtered at the end and once again youll be alone. Mebbe there should be a game percentage total thingy fir the end of game for multiple endings... if you get the best ending the game unlocks some kool stuff like weird monsters, skins, players. No more unlock everything cheats! I find my self giving up cause im lazy and using those =x! Bleh, if you cheat the ending should suck!

Maybe id will make an ending that doesn't totally suck this time (like that'll ever happen).

DooM took place on Phobos, The 2'nd episode was a rock formation over Hell, and the 3'rd was in Hell itself.
Then came Ultimate DooM, and God knows where #4 took place. (Or at least I don't know.)

That would work well if they use the episode setup ala the original DooM.
Then again, some decent cutscenes would make a linear approach work well, too.

mebbe mars would be the best place then, and they could do somethin with deimos. but i think mebbe the first stage could be about reaching the last ship off earth and escaping intime to to see earth from the ship get rapped with living flesh and fire or somethin really cool. i bet at least the intros already done though.. cant wait to see what they did.
