They changed alot of things in DooM 64,like new monsters nd new weapons. I think they should keep the changes except for the new cacodemon that looked just like the pain elemental in the computer version.

I disagree. In Doom 64 they added what, 1 new monster and 1 new weapon? I think both were crap, that laser thing was a POS. And regarding the looks.... well they are all going to look quite different (better!) anyway, because they will be true 3d with high res textures. (unlike the dodgy sprites used in Doom 64 and other Dooms)
Hopefully they come up with some new monsters, something more original than a "Nightmare imp" <-- bah humbug to that.

I didn't mean to keep sector based stuff and sprites and the graphical stuff.The new pain elemental kicked ass and the mother demon was the only actual HARD boss ive ever played in doom. I do agree the nightmare imp sucked.The laser was cool if you knew how to use it.I got it shooting three beams at once.
mabey i'll be a little more specific next time.

Yeah I got the laser with triple fire too... but I still think its lame :P
I dunno about the monsters... I mean I'd really like to see id come up with a whole heap of new monsters for us... but I must admit the enemies in Doom 64 did seem a lot scarier than the original doom's (well they looked a lot nicer so I think that had something to do with it http://www.newdoom.com/ubb/smile.gif

I dont care what they do or donot keep, as long as the game is awsome
