Quake

i just got quake,but im too lazy to do episode 4 and beat it, so i didnt get the full story, how duz quake1 (the invasion of quake) go to quake 2(invasion of the stroggos). I really dont understand, someone tell me

They're 2 completely different storylines. Just like Quake III isn't related to either of them, but instead is about some alien race that collects famous warriors and chucks them together in the arena for laughs.

Quake's story line is somewhat of a last minute thing. The engine wasn't really designed with a storyline in mind. The original idea of Quake goes back before Doom though as an RPG type thing. But id never made that game.

Quake's storyline was basically the same as Doom, only rehashed and with it's edge and most of what made it cool taken away, IMO. I don't blame them for starting anew with Quake 2, and am glad they're finally gonna continue on that line in Quake 4.;)

yeah i kno, i just got the original quake and i kinda think it sux, theres a reason it only sold for $2.00. I kinda wish they would make a remake of quake 2 but with better graphix an stuff
